'Song Cycle' is a covers concept record. It started Nov 2016…as the news cycle grew more and more insane, songs from my past jumped out at me. What was old was new again, time moving in spirals… and 'Song Cycle' spilled out. From the Beatles to Radiohead, by way of Peter Gabriel, Laurie Anderson, Tom Waits, Kate Bush and many others, 'Song Cycle' examines today through the lens of the past with an eye to the future.

My arrangements range from sparse landscapes and intimate torch songs to more epic orchestrations, featuring multiple vocalists and a gospel choir.

'Song Cycle' is a very personal project- I played and programmed every instrument, recorded every session, and mixed & mastered the entire record. It features incredible LA vocalists India Carney and Erin Bentlage, with contributions from many others, including Vincint, Thomas Silcott, Gregory Fletcher, Cheyenne Jolene, and the DC6 Gospel Choir.
