The Sheltering Sky

by Chris Anderson

/

about

This is a King Crimson favorite of mine, I arranged it for jazz quintet.

Looking forward to when we can return to people gathered in a room playing live music together in real time. But for now, I've played and programmed all the instruments myself.

The drums and percussion are mostly pots and pans and assorted stuff around the house and studio. This recording also has my debut on saxophone- (an old hand-me-down tenor). The trumpet is pieced together from outtakes from an older pre-quarantined recording.
